Queen Anne oyster veneer cabinet on stand circa late 17th century made in 2018
The carcass is made from pear, the marquetry panels are made with boxwood, blood wood, green hare wood, holly, pear, and green abalone shell on a ebony background.
The panels are surrounded with dozens of individually cut pieces of amboyna veneer to imitate oyster veneer with ebony and holy banding.
The seventeen draws are made with dovetail joints and finished with cast pewter / gold plated handles.
The stand has barley twist leg on bun feet.
